  January 15, 2024 - Great combination of secondary characteristics along with strong fruit components. Cassis, minerals, dark berry and graphite on the nose. This had a very Bordeaux profile to it, with tannins completely integrated. Silky palate profile. Such a beautiful wine. Drink up if you have any.

  May 31, 2023 - Opened and seemed almost corked. Funky nose mellowed out and the wine improved in the glass, but was still not up to par with other vintages. Less aromatic and dense as subsequent years, but still well layered and almost sweet raspberry taste.

  July 22, 2022 - Brick edges with bright ruby red color. Strawberry, sweet raspberry, oiled suede and gorgeous violets. Mouthwatering glycerin layers across the palate of this well structured wine. Many additional flavors evolve as it sits in the glass including tea leaves, currant, Asian spices and fields of blueberries. This wine is well exceeding expectations and my husband says quote “this wine is really freakin’ good!”

  August 27, 2021 - Weekend in Westport; 8/25/2021-8/29/2021 (Westport, CT): This is one of those hedonistic wines that still somehow manages to keep some balance to it. Sad to see that we don't have any of these left since it certainly is still going strong and I would love to see it again in 10 or 20 years. It's not for the faint of heart, but still quite tasty.
