    April 1, 2024 - Très beau Morgon, bien fondu, toujours vif, sur la cerise croquante, la canneberge, pointe florale et pierre concassée. Rien n’accroche, tout est fluide, un peu simple pour le prix mais hautement digeste et très appréciable!

    March 7, 2024 - Zuni Cafe Chicken Night (Brad's Place, St. Paul, MN): Medium dark red color. Drank a glass plus over 90 minutes. Darker fruits, a little bitter earth, graphite and dried tobacco, with the palate showing some dried cherry, bitter cherry pit, and scorched earth with a bit more tannin to me. Medium plus bodied. While I thoroughly enjoyed both, I found the Py to be more elegant.

    March 7, 2024 - Brad's Winner Winner Zuni chicken dinner night. BB,KB,ML & I. Brad's btl. Enjoyed this much more than my '16 Folliard Morgan Cote du Py in the same flight. Intriguing aromas of cigar ash, spice & underbrush. More lifted, refined and focused than my btl. Pretty mineral infused, sappy red fruit & spice. Reminds me a little bit of Chambolle Musigny in weight & elegance. I'll buy one for our house when I see it.

    September 16, 2023 - Splendide bouquet, sur un mélange harmonieux de petits fruits des champs noirs comme le framboises & les mûres. Ces derniers sont bien mélangés à des notes d'épices douces & une impression forte de poussière de roche. Il y a une petite pointe de rhurbarbe en arrière plan. Bref, for élégant & invitant.
    La bouche est principalement sur les petits fruits acidulé en attaque (fraise, framboise) & la rhubarbe. C'est énergique, vif, bien droit mais avec suffisant de matière & de mâche pour obtenir un bel équilibre. La finale est assez longue, principacelemnt sur des notes d'épices & de réglisses. Une belle impression de sol de rocailleux est omniprésent du début à la fin. Excellent!

    July 16, 2023 - Popped and poured but should have decanted for sediment. Medium ruby color, slightly cloudy. Nose of cranberry, earthy floral notes, pomegranate, a bit of strawberry. Very pretty. Similar flavors on the palate with a mix of juicy red fruits, pepper, earth and a bit of rusty iron/minerality on the back end. Medium+ acid, medium tannin and body. Really in a good place but room to develop.

    March 14, 2023 - Double blind tasting
    Pale ruby/purple
    Aromatics medium +. Fresh, crunchy strawberry and raspberry. No new oak
    Palate has a medium body. Acid medium +. Fresh, candied raspberry
    Finish has a medium + length. Balanced
    Dry glass notes of dry red fruit
    I guessed an Arnot-Roberts Gamay, 2019.
    Beautiful cru Beaujolais with Typicity. Drink now

    March 5, 2023 - Medium dull purple color - appears unfiltered
    Medium plus aromas of crunchy ripe red and blue fruit perfectly integrated with green stemmy notes which provide a perfect balance and give this wine a savory character begging for food
    Medium bodied with palate of red/ blue fruit with slightly candied quality
    Medium tannins with medium plus acidity and medium alcohol
    Moderate finish led by beautiful fruit
    Just a perfect example of Cru Beaujolais - highly recommended
    Drink now or hold
