September 22, 2020 - Still young. So fresh. Pure strawberry. This will age well.

August 10, 2020 - This i really, really liked (as always) and this blew the socks off the rest of the boys. They were even more blown away when they knew of the price I paid. Will let my remaining bottles sit for the next few years and will see how Foillard Cote du Py ages over the long term (10 to 20 years).. Strawberry and some barnyard... yumz!

August 9, 2020 - As a long-time fan of this bottling, it's always fun, and informative to try this in its (early) youth. That said, while crunchy, structured, and fun, I'd strongly suggest holding for at least 3-4 years, and even then, this will probably benefit from aeration prior to service. 13,0% abv. HOLD. recommended

July 31, 2020 - 13% alcohol. Good short cork, apart from the annoying rigid wax cover. Fairly dense colour and not quite limpid.
The nose is intensely fruity with redcurrant and cranberry. The mouth is in the same vein with good depth in a high pitch style; the acidity is certainly perceptible but it is not piercing.
A vg Beaujolais with possibly some margin for improvement with bottle age; as for value for money, and thus repurchasing, I am less sure. You are paying some premium for the label at this address.

July 30, 2020 - Red perfect mature fruit, great acidity that could be more integrated and balanced, a bit spritzy feeling (classic bojo for me), the tannins would probably get more friendly within a year or two
