September 8, 2023 - Good
October 14, 2022 - Kraftig. Overraskende fyldig og fin til prisen.
August 21, 2021 - Good. Got better with some air and a decant. Typical everyday French table wine. Lots of mineral. Good with steak.
August 27, 2019 - Opened and decanted for more than an hour. Cherries on the nose. This wine is hot, even the second day this wine shows heat. This was too young, should benefit from a few more years in the cellar.
June 30, 2019 - Excellent avec rosbif
April 1, 2019 - Lovely color. Medium bodied with lots of tannins, which obscure the fruit. Not much nose. Probably need more aging.
Update: I left a half bottle open for two days and it was so much better than on day one. Guess this needs to be decanted WAY in advance
March 30, 2019 - A nice offering! I has a nice clean berry smell but is a bit thin. I enjoyed the open that was very light and a bit heavy on fruit. The middle was light but clean and it finishes with a light merlot vibe and a little tart. I’d like to see it with some age on it.
March 9, 2019 - Very good flavors and textures, with Merlot prominent. Overall though, a touch thin and lacking power. A fine bistro quality wine nonetheless, and likely to pair well with a range of fare, perhaps even poultry (duck, goose, pheasant, quail, etc.)
October 7, 2018 - I've enjoyed this wine in multiple vintages for it's easy, accessible style, and appreciate the price and availability of the half bottles for lunch time burger pairing, and this one is no different. Medium ruby color with transparency. Aromas of dark red fruits, earthy funk, smoke, tobacco, cinnamon, a bit of floral, and graphite. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of red and dark red fruits, dried spices, and minerals. Accessible now, but will improve with a few more years I think. Solid in its category.
September 4, 2018 - A very good example of a basic Bordeaux superieur. Very French tasting but with a nice balance. If you like new world fruitiness you'll hate it!
