March 27, 2020 - Dieprood in het glas, helder en intens. In de neus kers, hout, likje vanille en donker fruit als braam. In de mond licht hoekige tannines, gemiddeld. Zuren in balans. Het fruit komt door met wat kruidigheid. Licht stoffig gevoel in de mond. Absoluut kwaliteit voor het geld. De afdronk brengt de zuren weer. Heel aangenaam.
February 10, 2019 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and blueberry. It tastes like blackberry, blueberry, raisin, black pepper and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.
December 3, 2018 - Le vin affiche une robe de couleur violet moyen, translucide. Sur des arômes de fruits noirs, de coulis de mûre, avec un peu de cacao et légèrement épicé. La bouche est fraiche, un peu serrée avec des tanins semi-fermes et quelques amers. Ça manque un peu de finesse et de longueur, mais c'est bien frais et on apprécie son taux d'alcool bien contrôlé.
November 26, 2018 - Juicy black cherry and currant fruit nose with smoky, sweet spice notes. Fruity and ripe, structured and balanced. A bit of vanilla on the finish.

January 5, 2018 - Dark purple red in color, with aromatic nose of red fruits, sage and minerals. The palate is medium-bodied, quite but well-balanced, initially rather tight and ungenerous but opened up to be quite a charming and gorgeous wine after an hour of air. Flavours of ripe red and blue fruits in the order of cherries, raspberries, mulberries blueberries and pomegranate dominates and drives this juicy Douro Red nicely integrated with flavors of dried sage, minerals with subtle impressions of wet loam and forest floor. Overall a beautiful, nuanced and easy drinking wine with a lot finesse.
