Après le Batard (en 15), le Chevalier offre un style plus aérien et plus minéral. Sans doute que l'équilibre du millésime joue aussi en sa faveur, mais quelle trame épurée, pourtant toute en puissance maitrisée, en délicatesse... quelle classe !

Terrific round texture that comes from the concentration of the wine and not the barrels. Not plagued by oak like the Meursaults are. No question that this is the best of the bunch, but it lacks the creaminess and complexity of top Chevalier-Montrachet. A minor Grand Cru wine.
