August 28, 2019 - I drink a lot of Chablis but rarely any Moutonne, which has this mythos as the magical eighth Chablis Grand Cru vineyard, but in reality is just a sub-parcel of Vaudesir (and a small bit of Preuses). I can see the Vaudesir connection, as this is all flowers and seabreeze, more finesse than power, although evident oak might make it hard to call blind. Lacks midpalate density; if this gains power with age it can be quite good.

January 8, 2018 - A noticeable step up compared to their 2016 GC Les Clos tasted alongside. Much more detail, more concentration, very well balanced and persistent. Excellent. 92-93+
