November 3, 2023 - JD Friday Wine Group - GA Host (City Club FW - Wine Room): Tasted blind - light gold in the glass, nose of fresh lemon. Nice acidity on the palate, but still soft. Steely, mineral-ly, a hint of wood influence. Called a 2015 Chablis.

A beautiful bottle that drank from near PnP through two nights (overnight with a splash of gas and suction). Starts off surprisingly taut, minerally, citrus zest, Chablis-esque. This part of the profile is persistent, but slowly depth and texture build, spice comes in, the minerality becomes a backbone for orchard fruits that ripen, towards the end of the second night warming/baking/caramelized apple and even butterscotch (in a good way!). The finish gets longer over time, building to a 1-2 minute finish.

This drinks so well right now, but my other bottle will likely lay down a few more years to see how it progresses. It seems to have the stuffing, even if it's not a really long-term ager.

Lovely wine and in today's market, the $75 USD paid seems like a fine deal.

    13% abv

March 16, 2023 - Bouchard is the largest owner of this elegant vineyard, and it shows. This beauty is on the front end of its drinking window and after 30 minutes of air it's absolutely beautiful and a wonderful representation of the Genevrieres terrior. A real beauty and for the money, an incredible value that boxes at the very top of the Premier Cru hierarchy. A real beauty!

September 25, 2021 - I only bought one of these a couple years back near release. Served in Riedel Montrachets. Pale gold color. A study in balance and gentility. Very nice but somehow not particularly memorable. Vintage? 13% alc

April 2, 2021 - Citrus, minerals, and modest oak. Refreshing. Maybe a little tight still but very nice. Will try again in a year or so.

April 11, 2020 - A little disjointed. Maybe needs a couple years to integrate.

February 23, 2020 - Slow-ox'd for 2 hours. Tight but still showing that honeysuckle floral note I associate with Bouchard's Genev bottling. Plenty of minerality. This needs 3-5 years to start to unwind but what is in there looks to be a classic Genevrieres. Just wish I was comfortable waiting longer on white burgs because I bet this goes the distance.

June 18, 2019 - Medium yellow in color with noticeable legs. Honeysuckle on nose. Tart on initial taste, but overall medium body with a lively, crisp finish.

    Buy again.
