  May 7, 2023 - Tasted after a 90 minute decant.
  Medium to dark ruby in colour with lovely aromas of earthy forest floor/Garrigue & sweet fruit. On the palate, medium to full bodied mostly red fruit, raspberry/strawberry, chocolate, Garrigue+forest floor, medium acidity, medium to high slightly angular tannins with a long finish to pepper & cherry kirsch. Tea leaves in aftertaste. This wine still seems a little aggressive, but great cellar potential! At this price point, pretty excellent value!

  May 24, 2022 - ranking as my favourite on the night up against the 2016 mordoree lirac reine des bois and the 2016 clos du caillou cotes du rhone quartz. similar profile to the other two, this just offered a little more depth and variety on the palate for me and slightly more interest and interplay between sweet and savoury, fruity and herbal. very good value here and as good as many more expensive CdPs. will be interesting to see if this improves with a little more bottle age...

  February 25, 2022 - Elements of CdP and northern Rhône in a splendid marriage. It has the richness and depth of Grenache dominant CdPs and the freshness and acidity of a good Rhône. It’s got a really pungent black and raspberry nose, with a dusty note. Flavors mirror the nose, being pure berries and a nice balance of acid and tannins. What it lacks in complexity, it makes up for with richness and freshness. The finish is juicy and long lasting. I love this juice!

  April 9, 2020 - Very nice. Not opaque, but deep ruby-purple. Enticing nose with good red fruit and Provençal herbs. Rich, ripe, smooth fruit in the mouth, heady and sexy, lots to like here. Dark fruit. This a great wine for the money, shows what this appellation is capable of. Voluptuous. 4-13-17-8: 92/100
