March 23, 2024 - Pronounced nose of fleshy berries, sage, pepper, leather, dried berries, warm dusty earth. The palate is bold with a symphonic version of the same notes from the nose. There’s a savory, maybe tertiaty-driven, roasted tomatoes and jerky-ish qualities in the mid-palate. Tannins are present and fleshy, lots of structure here. Excellent CdP.

February 18, 2024 - This is a terrific Cdp. Coravined a glass. Drank over 3 hr. Big glass :). Even plum berry flavors. The wine is still young and smooths out over the 3. hrs. So decant and wait.

February 11, 2024 - Good Wine with an Exciting Super Bowl (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Walkaround tasting. Ripe, dense and powerful, still slightly backward, ending in an exciting, well spiced finish. Upside from here. 93-94 point potential.
