January 13, 2024 - Timuquana BYO (TCC): Most of the group’s favorite in the bunch. Lots of fruit and very smooth. A bit of oak. Needs a lot of time.

June 8, 2019 - Chris Ringland pop-up tasting (Terroir Tribeca): Another very intense wine. It had been opened and decanted a few hours before. This felt like it needed just a lot more time. It's darker red fruits. There's still some balance. Really springs out of the glass at you. There's some interesting notes here. While intense and kindof ripe there's this fun sour note too. Even in the five to ten minutes I had it in the glass it was shifting and changing. Will give ours many years (at least 20).

October 27, 2018 - Matter of taste (London): Floral, dense fruit aromas with violet, mint. Soft black fruit, great uplifting acidity but virtually without tannin or just buried under the fruit? Intense and impressive with a never ending finish. However, too much of a good thing to find the right balance or just a Matter of Taste?

October 27, 2018 - Tasted next to 2008. Expressive nose - fruit cake, spices, smoked meat, dark fruit. Very concentrated and rich on the palate, again spicy. Well balanced given the very high alcohol but less expressive than the 2008 on the palate, still rather big and heavy. Abundance of fruit, ripe tannins, great persistence. 93-94+

October 27, 2018 - Darker and more intense perhaps than the 2008 but needs another 5 to 10 years then approaching 100 sure. Incredible but so concentrated like an atomic particle right now

May 9, 2018 - Playing it tighter than other vintages at present. Maybe a little closed for now. Though still big and will be audacious as you'd hope, but not fully strutting its stuff right now.
