April 27, 2019 - Another lofty score for this one. Very very elegant and refined. Almost translucent in colour with a hint of amber on the rim. The balance is sensational for a wine from a lesser year. So many tertiary flavours - cherry blossom, red fruits, maybe even a hint of jasmine. The finish isn’t the longest, but it is beautifully delicate and simply stunning. Last bottle sadly. €40 from the domaine in 2007. Definitely one of my better buys.

December 26, 2016 - Revisited.Loved it. Corned beef on the nose with strawberry and violets. Not a great vintage but a Magic wine.

October 2, 2016 - Crikey! Two bottles in the cellar and decided to give one a go. PnP. Stunning nose of violets and strawberry. So so moreish on the palate with such finesse. A great winemaker producing a beautiful wine in a so called lesser vintage. Wonderful stuff.

July 22, 2013 - A translucent wine with a cloudy dark brown core showing its age with a bright brick orange rim. Complex aromas of strawberries, cherries, licorice, roasted meats, damp earth, Indian spices, and a small dollop of creamy vanilla. The flavors are as intense as the nose showing tart strawberries, pomegranate, sour cherries, blackberries on the attack with notes of meat aux jous, licorice, intermingled with soy sauce on the mid-palate, and a nice continuation into the long lasting finish filled with oriental spices. A sappy textured mid-bodied wine that is elegant, with great fruit flavors, and intense acidity.
