November 5, 2021 - Tasted blind, no decant. Ripe and jammy cherry fruit, later also dried fig, fine cedar wood, a pinch of clove and smoke and menthol. Great balance even if a bit wild, nice and juicy with some leathery notes in the finish. This was amazingly versatile, with an enticing, layered bouquet and a bold structure – only drawback is that the extraction was pretty borderline, would have preferred more freshness.
