May 8, 2021 - I really love Ontario Cab Franc! This is another great example. Medium ruby in the glass.
Powerful, opulent aromas of sweet hookah tobacco, worn belt leather, ripe black cherry and plum.
Medium bodied and surprisingly soft and round on the palate. Delicate tannins, persistent acidity. Alcohol is hot.
Flavours are ripe but not jammy. Oak is present and well integrated. Notes of black cherry, cedar, toasted oak and vanilla.
Medium finish.

April 22, 2021 - Clear medium ruby; clean medium plus nose of musty plums, leather, wood and blackberry jam; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; high alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter and very hot - like cough syrup - with addition of black licorice; medium plus finish; drink now; not quite in balance - a little too hot and confected

Palette: dark cherry, vanilla, green pepper, silky, smooth tannins.
Drinking well now. Paired with rosemary garlic lamb rack -

Decanter Bronze
Colour: Med to dark red. Looks more dense than the reg Kacaba CF
Nose: Red cherries, some green peppers
Taste:Medium tannins, dark chocolate with more cherries on the palate. Excellent structure with long finish. Much better than the reg Kacaba CF
