December 3, 2022 - Far more advanced than our previous bottles - herbal and pruny nose, port-like reductive palate. I wouldn't have expected this degree of aging given our relatively recent prior experience, so I'm inclined to say it was an off bottle, but there were no obvious flaws otherwise...

April 22, 2022 - Classic Barolo nose of roses, cherries, violets, dark fruit, and sweet berries. It's lovely and fragrant, but the ripeness of the vintage does come out. The tannins are quite integrated and the palate has good acidity with flavors of ripe berries, dark cherries, and more floral notes. Long finish. This was very well put together and will only improve further. Compared to the 2004 Giacosa Falletto next to it, this felt like it needed a bit more time.

(BAROLO Le Coste G. Rinaldi) Barolo Dear Friends, A few special magnums of what can only be construed as traditional trophy wine... All were just confirmed and I think they speak for themselves - all are VERY RARE in this format. This parcel is directly from the source with perfect provenance. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for being a traditional stronghold in the face of modernism: 2000 G. Rinaldi Barolo Brunate Le Coste 1.5lt (AG92) I also have a few of these... 2003 G. Rinaldi Barolo Brunate Le Coste 1.5lt This is one of the finest wines of the 2003 vintage - it drinks more like a cross between 1989 and 2001): ...and many of you asked for the 1995 after the Rinaldi vertical offer last week, here you go...in magnum: 1995 G. Rinaldi Barolo Brunate Le Coste 1.5lt EXTREMELY LIMITED Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Italy5466 Italy5467 Italy5468
