Community Tasting Notes 4

January 11, 2020 - Tasty! Floral, golden delicious apples and a pleasant sweet/acidic canned pineapple juice tang. Understated chardonnay with an emphasis on fruit and balance.

November 22, 2019 - Lively grassy tropical menthol nose and palate with a rich creamy body. Vanilla and wool on the finish.

January 18, 2019 - Fresh lemony nose, lemony rind
Very fresh, more citrus fruit, slight bitter rind edge
Clean, unoaked, some creamy, slightly roasty notes (from lees I assume) but they are very much in background.
Zingy and fresh. Good stuff but I think even a year or two in bottle who pay dividends.
Lowish alcohol 13.5% for Cal Chardonnay

    April 23, 2018 - OK. But don't buy again.
