June 23, 2023 - Brought to KM’s birthday dinner. No notes. Last minute pull.

Another great bottle combining the SVDs into this cuvée. Killer bottle with so much going on it’s hard to not want to sit with this bottle alone and watch it (or in this case taste) do its thing. Great now, great later. Yum.

September 8, 2022 - Decanted 2 hours. Just a beautiful Napa cab overall. Medium Purple in color but not inky or tongue coating by any means. Fairly high alcohol content which stays during the entire time of even drinking the last class. Almost burned my nostrils a bit. Although it’s a bit hot it is a very nicely balanced wine with dried blackberries and blueberries, some pencil lead , and bit of chocolate. The tannins are fine but mildly gripping. Medium acidity. I really enjoy the balance of this one.

September 17, 2020 - After reading the reviews that said that this wine was young I gave it a 2 hour decant and drank over 5 hours. This was great from the start, wonderful blend that was open and ready to go. Slight fade of the fruit during last hour but not bad at all. This was more ready than the 13 I had not too long ago. Enjoy!

July 31, 2020 - This earthy and rustic Bordeaux blend needs some time to unfold, but it has an intense fruit core that is quite intriguing. Dark purple in color; full in body; nose of boysenberry, charcoal, espresso bean, and pencil lead. To quote Snoopy, the flavors are "dark and stormy," with notes of roasted blueberry, ribeye, peppercorn, and gravel, followed by a prickly and tannic finish. Blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, 15% Petit Verdot, and 4% Malbec. 14.5% alcohol. This wasn't as welcoming as the 2015, which I had a few months ago, but it's well-made and very promising. 94 for now, with upside in 2022 or later.

June 28, 2020 - Absolutely stunning wine. Probably the best Napa red I've had in years. Consumed half on day 1 with a pop and pour, and then the other half the following day after 24 hours in the wine cooler. Mostly dark red/black fruits with lots of graphite. Fierce tannins that seemed like they were more from a 1 year old wine as opposed to a 5 - 6 year old wine. This will last for decades.

September 10, 2018 - Ready to drink on initial pour and coated the mouth with smooth fruit and sweet tannins. In a great spot now and going to be hard to stay away from the other two bottles
