April 19, 2024 - 1 hour decant, 60 F. Fairly deep ruby color. Lovely aromatic nose of big black fruits with dark chocolate and green bell pepper notes and a hint of anise. Lively acidity, smooth creamy tannins, well-integrated alcohol and oak. Medium body. Pleasant sweet plum and cassis fruit on the palate, spicy tobacco notes, a touch of tart cherry. Short drying finish with a bit more spice. Drink now.

April 18, 2024 - Took an hour or so to fully open up. Medium to full bodied. Dark berry fruits, cassis, spices. A bit mulled or muddy in mouthfeel, not clean and crisp in flavours. Medium acid, dusty ripe tannins, but on the slightly bitter side. Nice wine. Kind of average for the price.

April 16, 2024 - A nose of some dark fruits and some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, cassis, vanilla and some spice on finish, nothing special, heavy bottle. www.winelx.com

January 5, 2024 - A nicely balanced every day drinking Napa Cab. Medium bodied fruit with a bit of a weak finish. Anise and vanilla nose, nice balance and the tannins are fairly resolved. Dark berry fruit with a hint of cedar and mint. Drink up!

November 4, 2023 - We liked it this time around. Smooth and tasty. In a good place to drink now, perhaps even good to drink up. Almost a 92, but 91 feels more appropriate.
