Community Tasting Notes 6

November 13, 2016 - From the wine list at Charlie Bird (NYC). Really funky barnyard and earthy nose. Slight bricking on the edge. This was definitely mature, lots of barnyard flavors, and savory qualities wrapping the delicate red fruit. Balanced, complex and very enjoyable.

April 1, 2009 - Strawberries galore. Very nice, not particularly long or concentrated, but pure bright pinot fruit.

October 19, 2008 - Young and edgy with deep red fruit. Tastes more like Coche Dury than anything else, and that isn't a bad thing in a Bourgogne. Drinks fine now but will likely drink better in a couple of years. Definitely a wine for food.

July 29, 2007 - Rather disappointing. High acidity, evolved fruit. Fairly light, typical pinot. I expected more from a wine from this estate (even if this is only a cuvée de base)

October 12, 2006 - Lovely light fruit, a hint of spice, a nice little wine.
