with clay loam soils at 200 to 600 m.
Manual harvest. Sorted on vibrating table and de-stemmer.
Fermentation in truncated cone-shape stainless steel tanks
and maceration on the skins for ~14 days.
Aged 13 months in new French oak barriques (20+ types of wood)
and >24 months in bottle.

May 9, 2020 - Das ist endlich ein Süditaliener der grossen Spass macht! Kein übersüsses Bonbon, keine Traubenmarmelade die nach zwei Schlucken eine Überzuckerung verursacht. Nein, einach ganz grosses Kino!
Wird mit der Reife noch zulegen. Dann sicher mehr als 92 Punkte
July 23, 2019 - Pour moi l’équilibre n’est pas la. Saveurs intenses et beaucoup de prune et réglisse. Cependant, entre acidité trop vive et chaleur alcoolique sans trouver son pied. Pas meilleur le lendemain.
Beaucoup de profondeur aromatique, mais manque d’intégration? Serait intéressant à regoûter dans quelques années.

Pas donné mais plus que du bonbon!
Fait de Nero d’Avola.
Un nez sur la cerise, le cassis, la menthe et l`anis.
En bouche, c`est ample mais tout de même assez bien équilibré.
La prune et les mures sont au rendez-vous, avec de la réglisse et
une pointe de cèdre.
Les tanins sont bien enrobés et la finale bien longue.
Excellent en ce moment avec un beau potentiel pour la moyenne garde.
