August 20, 2020 - Wednesday Wine Education #3; 8/19/2020-8/20/2020 (Grapes & Grains, Temecula, CA): Presented alongside a Clendenen Tocai Friulano out of Santa Maria Valley. Quite different even though both are 13.5% abv. The Italian version has much more bright apple, pear, and citrus fruit, a higher acidity, minerality, and more structural balance. About 2/3rds of the class preferred this over the Clendenen.

July 4, 2020 - Not quite as rich or complex as the recent Schippetto I had. But for $10 off Winebid, pretty good score. 7 months lees aging provides some depth to the vibrant acidity.

January 14, 2019 - Apple fruit day apparently. Nice texture on the palate. Good stuff.

February 8, 2018 - Mineral and crispy on the palate right now.

December 14, 2017 - Full on the palate, fleshy, powerful. Generous fruit, delicious, tasty.
