Community Tasting Notes 3

November 8, 2014 - Felt a lot younger than an 85 and would have guessed 90s to be honest.
Rich, but balanced with good acidity, good round palate. Has a smooth feel across from the textbook noble rot nose to palate. But in a way that smoothness is its undoing too as it does not strike a chord and tails off quickly on the finish. Did not feel tired but was not vibrant either. A pretty solid sauternes nonetheless. 90-91 and has lots of life ahead of it.

January 2, 2010 - Exactly what it should be, plenty of sugar and a fantastic finish. Manzke personal tasting menu at Church and State.
