February 17, 2024 - PnP. Blackberry, raspberry, slight menthol, and black pepper. Tons of pepper on the palate, with some spice and mineral notes on a long finish. Tannins are ripe and well integrated. After open for an hour or so, getting some smoke and slight bacon fat on the nose.
About USD 33, purchased from a shop in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Taxes on wine/alcohol here are very high to reduce local consumption and raise government revenue. Wine selection is quite limited, and handling often dubious. This bottle however, does not disappoint. A worthwhile purchase in this country context.

Consistent with previous notes. Needs some air but so good. One of the world’s great wine buys. Should be on the wine list of every French bistro in town.

January 22, 2023 - I enjoyed this when I had it back in 2020. Now, the wine was flat, with very little fruit left. It was acidic and abrasive. It was no better on day 3, it ended up down the sink. Too old? Bad bottle?
December 17, 2022 - Taste tested the 2015 & 2016 on the same night & wow what a difference between the both.
The 2016 provided aromas of dark red fruits & on the palate this wine was silky smooth with very little acidity or tannins with an incredible finish.
The 2015 provided more aromas of wet cement & plum fruit notes & on the palate this wine was a little more acidity not overly complex with an ok finish.
So on the nose the 2015 was the definite winner however on the palate the 2016 was the definite winner with its extremely smooth & silky finish. Quite interesting both wine were distinctly different with the 2016 outshining the 2015.
October 22, 2021 - Man skulle kunna bli lurad att detta är en bra barbera men den ger mer. De blå/röda bären övergår i en komplex struktur som erinrar om anis. Inget typiskt Rhônevin men ändå köpvärt.

August 14, 2021 - Nose: Sea breeze. Blueberry. French vanilla. Medium intensity.
Palate: Sea breeze. Peppermint. Medium tannins. Dry. Full body. Medium minus flavour intensity. Medium finish.
March 26, 2021 - Här finns det mörk frukt! Vi dividerar men landar i mogna björnbär. Bra syra som klara ett lamm med örtsås. Kommer leva ett eller två år till men blir inte bättre.
