December 3, 2023 - lots of depth, balance, good fruit, quite excellent. Drank along with an Alban Reva 2010 to celebrate Michigan winning the big ten.

August 3, 2023 - Grape flavored sugar water on day 1 (caymus style syrup) enough backbone developed and candied flavor blew off after 24 hours open in the cooler to make it enjoyable.

February 7, 2023 - Still too young - the deep dark fruit (very tasty) is concealed by sweet oak. Not badly so, and it mostly faded with air, but it'll be better in 2-4 years.

October 29, 2022 - Interesting debate going on inside my head about this bottle. I certainly like it and appreciate its flavors, brightness and finish but do I love it, hmmm? Needed a solid decant to get the wine to round out (integrate the acidity and tannins) and deepen (add body and darker fruit). By end of the evening, I was falling in love but felt there was more to coax out of it. Saved the rest for the next day, but slid back bit. Can't go over 94 points as the mouthfeel and complexity never kicked into gear. Fun, classy date but nothing more for this bottle.
