April 29, 2022 - Pale straw colour, lighter than I'd expected at 6YO.
Bright nose with lemon to the fore, but understated in a similar way to a cool climate chardonnay that wasn't aged in oak.
Bright and refreshing on the palate, again with lemon (subtly) to the fore, lemon verbena, a touch of grapefruit on the finish and a hint of lychee softening and adding a touch of complexity.
It's not bursting with complexity, but it's wonderfully balanced for food or to refresh and appeal on a summer's day. A less is more wine. -

April 23, 2022 - A beautiful bottle of Carricante; full of mouth clinging lemon drenched minerals, sweet herbal notes, and a hint of ash. This was so fresh and delicious. One of the things that really stood out was the perfumed citrus notes that brought my nose back to the glass over and over.

June 2, 2018 - Wonderfully bright with layers of nuance and interest. Meyer lemon, quince, mint and sweet herbs blossoms, all with a great underlying minerality.
Really great, I can't wait to see how this evolves over time.
