April 21, 2018 - Mild oxidization but mostly manifesting in a nice honeyed nose with honeydew melon. Big salinity. Palate is a little advanced with apricot fruit flavours. This does have nice weight and density though. Not perfect but good.

July 25, 2017 - Blind. Very Raveneau. Lemon curd, crisp, clean freshness, nice linearity. Drank like younger wine.

April 16, 2017 - Was afraid of it being premox but really nice on the opening, and opened up in the next hour before closing a bit. Light gold colored, no sediment in the bottle. Smells like apricot and honeydew. Smooth, long finishe and nice acidity.

April 27, 2016 - Gyllengul farge. Noe dempet nese. Floral og mineralsk. Rik og intens i munn. Gul stenfrukt, honning, sitrondrops. Lett kremete. Flott og syrlig avslutning. Nydelig vin.

(François Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru Butteaux) Group's #8 (my #7) – 106 pts.; 0, 0, 2, 4 – pale canary yellow color; European butter, straw and sweet lemon nose; tight on entry, tart citrus mid-palate with a touch of TCA wet cardboard on the edges (not noticeable on the nose); medium finish

(Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru "Butteaux") This was pretty tight but really on at the same time. Lots of lemon and mineral on the nose. Pretty thick on the palate with nice richness and stoniness. Laserlike purity with tons of candied lemons and a slight honeyed element. But razorlike acidity focused it all into a tight little core. Improved throughout the night but has a ways to go. Hands off.
