September 27, 2023 - {Bought on release, perfect fill, cellar bin has far fewer bottles in it than expected so may have "accidentally " consumed others...} Very attractive, Pinote fragrant nose, regal Pommard reserve and iron minerality. Gorgeous nose but upright, rigorous, super fruit that requires a carafe or more time. Superb villages. (Who drank those other 6 bottles from my cellar?! Hoping set 6 aside...) Could use this wine to educate neophytes about what Pommard should taste like. Great with confit duck leg.

July 15, 2021 - Excellent bottle, more like the one I had 18 months ago. Ripe red and dark fruit, rich and earthy, with some stone flavors, a silky texture and a bit of structure. Delicious now, but should hold up well for a few more years.

February 20, 2021 - Ripe red fruit, with some mineral notes and a firm finish. Not as open and approachable as the bottle I had last year, but still quite good.

June 10, 2020 - Clear medium ruby. Clean nose of medium plus intensity, aromas of red currant, bell peppers, violets, vanilla, mushrooms, wet stone. Wine is developing. Palate: dry, medium plus acidity, medium and very pleasant tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus flavor intensity of cranberry, bell pepper, lavender, wet stone, bitter chocolate. Finish is medium plus and impressive. Very good wine can be drank now but would benefit from 5 plus more years of cellaring

February 21, 2020 - Ripe berries, with some developing earthiness, good length, plenty of acidity and structure, but no hard edges. Surprisingly approachable, but has plenty of time ahead of it. Delicious village wine.
