March 23, 2019 - Very unique and distinct wine. Dark yellow or light orange hazy colour, obviously unfiltered with a nice foam reminiscent of a beer. The nose is very refined with hints of rose petals and peach notes. The palate is rather sweet for a semi-effervescent wine but delivers a nice balance between the sweetness and the bubbles. Short finish but who cares. This is simple but very enjoyable. It’s criminal pleasure given the price.

February 19, 2019 - A strong whiff of horsey funk on opening. Amber color as others have noted. Ume plum, dried apricots and baking spices on the nose. Off-dry on the palate with an acetic kind of acidity; cidery and slightly herbal finish. It has a little too much of that skunky/icky taste on the back end you get when the fermentation gets out of control. I say this as someone who enjoys sour beer and other beverages that have strong imprints of fermentation. Interesting to try, but not a re-buy.

January 15, 2019 - This bottle was ... bigger? than the previous two. Sweeter, more funky, more tannic, frothier, more everything. Too weird to score with any kind of consistency, it's still fun.

January 10, 2019 - Medium orange, tending toward amber. Pale rim.
Nose of candied citrus peel, coriander and nutmeg, hint of honey. Medium bodied, fine but grippy tannins. More honey on the palate, decent acid. Off dry, but not as sweet as the candy/honey nose might suggest. Very reminiscent of a funky sour beer. Would rebuy.

January 6, 2019 - most folks compared it to a funky/skunky/sour beer. more beer-y than wine. still a cool thing to try! lightly sweet, weird sour frito finish.
