August 5, 2023 - Delicious, and this bottle was still effervescent.
December 31, 2022 - A fabulous wine, but it’s loosing effervescence and was perhaps at the end of peak at 20 years old. Drink up.
July 4, 2021 - Lemon, butter but without any of the weight, white flowers, nutty. Acid is still racy and very strong carbonation for age due to fairly recent disgorgement. Color is light for the age.
September 8, 2019 - July 2016 disgorgement. Wonderful, rich and full bodied. Drinking perfectly.
August 17, 2019 - Same batch as the last bottle. Lovely again. Soft oxidative nutty notes, citrus. On the palate, great acid, more nutty citrus, lifted flavors, soft bubbles and a clean, slightly bitter finish.
February 15, 2019 - slow bubble stream. light golden, in color.
yeast, subtle citrus, toast. amazing length, on a rich finish.
January 18, 2019 - This is so good right now. March 2018 Disgorgement. The nose is lovely with a touch of vanilla, marzipan, chamomile, citrus, lovely slightly oxidative notes. On the palate, fantastic aciidity, mint, and a hint of chamomile, mixed with a pithy bitterness and a suggestion of sweetness. Just so well put-together, and one of my favorite producers.
December 16, 2018 - So good. Lovely yellow-gold color, not nearly as dark as I might have expected. Tons of life left in this bottle - lovely notes of mushroom and leesy yeast on the nose. A layer of lemony citrus lurking in the background. Very much mirrored on the palette. Plenty of lush bubbles left to keep the mousse racy. Medium body, high acidity, medium low alcohol. Highly recommend.
November 23, 2018 - Disgorged 3/2018. Gorgeous nose with nice oxidative notes, vanilla, lemon, honeysuckle. Wonderful acid, some coppery pinot influence. Very fresh, given age. Yum.
