  April 7, 2021 - A more austere, shy wine than the Fontechiara Colline Novaresi Nebbiolo 2015 tasted last week....
  On nose: dried roses and faint herbs.
  On palate: follow through of the above flavours, in addition to bracing acidity, cranberry, minerals, rosemary, and a pleasantly bitter ghost of white grapefruit pith on the finish.....a lean , tensile food wine, that can use another 3 years in cellar.....Ratti's wines require patience and bottle age to shine....a 1985 Barolo from this producer was still youthful when sampled in 2019, but well rounded and ready.....
