  April 20, 2024 - This bottle was unfortunately past it's peak, still drinkable, but not an accurate reflection of the quality of this producer's wine. The color had taken on a bit of golden hue. On the sweet side, limited bubbles.

  June 24, 2023 - Medium yellow color. Beautiful nose of lemon/lime zest, apricots and toasted brioche. The palate is bright and zingy up front and toasted and complex on the finish. Flavors of bright citrus and citric acidity, toasted brioche with membrillo and apricot jam. The long finish is very toasty and has a hint of saline oyster shell. Some bottles of this have been a bit tired, but not this one. Excellent! I keep going back and forth between 92 and 93

  March 11, 2023 - Just a lovely nose. Very developed nose of moist, right out of the oven brioche. Bruised pit fruits and a long, oyster shell, saline finish. Still lively. Drink now-2026 92

  July 10, 2022 - What a knock-out nose of bruised pit fruits, lemon/lime zest, membrillo and persimmon. Quite full-bodied, this is rich with loads of fruit. Absolutely delicious, this is a little low on CO2, but high in everything else! The palate of sweet fruit (see the aroma) is complemented by a toasty character and good acidity. Slightly saline in the finish. This is really an excellent bottle of mature Champagne at a bargain price. 93

  August 28, 2021 - Still a youthful straw/yellowish color. Beautiful nose of peach and apricot jams, Meyer lemon all slathered on toasted brioche. Absolutely delicious, with notes of Asian pear and preserved lime adding focus and acidity to bruised pit fruits. Great acidity, really shows the extended tirage in the beautifully integrated toasty nose with a long, saline finish. Fantastic stuff and an EXTRAORDINARY bargain. Wow! 93+
