    February 12, 2021 - (Disgorged in 1999, 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay)
Nice and smooth on the nose showing butterscotch and butter in a very pleasant way and opens up with time in the glass with a lovely mint chocolate note. With a honey smooth acidity on the palate showing red apples and some buttery notes on the lengthy finish with some dried fruitiness. Very pleasant and still drinking very well, but needed lots of time in the glass before opening up in a delicious way.

May 19, 2007 - Drunk to open proceedings at Runny's birthday dinner at Chez Patrick, Sun Street in Hong Kong. Gorgeous deep straw colour, subdued bubbles...almost looked flat but lovely fresh acidity in the mouth which quickly evolved into hazelnuts and an appealingly dry, biscuitty finish. Classic older Champagne. My last bottle and I wish I had more.
