August 16, 2020 - Enjoyed over two consecutive days, decanted on day 1. Medium, opaque purple, ruby edges; full bodied, medium alcohol. This is the third vintage of this wine which I have enjoyed, there’s definitely a “house style” here. Developing, dry red wine. Big, pronounced aromatic, terroir inspired, aromas and flavors of smokey asphalt, stony schist, fragrant violets, ripe, black cherries, juicy black plum, and spicy black and blue berries, black olive, black coffee, and bacon fat, all of which are underscored with some pungent herbal earthiness and chewy smoked meat. Well balanced, intense deep flavors, a solid tannic structure, and lively acidity. Excellent, long, full finish. Definitely can be enjoyed now, recommend decanting; however, this is likely to improve with additional cellaring, easily another ten years.

April 22, 2020 - Delicious wine. Violet, Blackberry jam, hint of raspberry and pepper. Open with a very long decant now. Tasted with the 2017 which was more spicy, closed and serious.

    April 7, 2020 - 90 + potentiel de bonification en cave.

February 25, 2020 - Day 1 this was pretty purple and primary. Not a lot of complexity, but a lot of yum.
Day 2 this firmed up somewhat and picked up northern Rhone Syrah goodness: cracked pepper, some meatiness, and more varied fruit.

January 2, 2020 - Very floral nose with rose petals, violets, smashed berries. Gritty berry fruit, strong raspberry palate. A young wine with a fairly simple approach. Drink or hold.
