May 27, 2022 - (Decanted for one hour)
Deep red colour with a brick red hue and showing a maturing nose with warm red berries, herbs, leather and some minty notes in a very pleasant way. Still showing pleasant tannins giving structure to the palate and with hints of leather and herbs on the finish.

May 22, 2022 - sehr dunkles Rot, fast schwarz
    leicht animalische Nase: nasses Holz
Unerwartet kräftig, rustikal , dabei nicht plump, allerdings nicht elegant

January 22, 2022 - von wegen „kleiner“ Jg- große Trinkfreude.
satte, dichte, warme Frucht, nichts Grünes (wie Paprika,Holz). Vermutlich jetzt auf dem Höhepunkt
    (1/2 Fl nahm StB mit)

August 24, 2021 - Enjoyable if unremarkable Margaux. Drink now. 30 minute decant.

August 22, 2021 - It is a very good well aged Margaux. Dark fruit, cassis and very well integrated tannins. Going strong but drinking is now.

July 31, 2021 - One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Some sediment. Wine was clear, dark crimson bowl to lighter rim. No amber yet but a small clear halo. Nose was sour cherries, walnuts, currants and fines herbs. In the mouth, something seemed off. Sour cherries and woodsy flavors followed by a strong fennel ending to a rather short finish. The fruit seemed stilted. The wine did soften over time, but the wood and fennel never left. While I cannot say the wine was "flawed" in that it was unpalatable, I must have had a storage or shipment problem somewhere along the way to the table. It happens.
