June 9, 2021 - Balanced, elegant, excellent -- berries and spice. A firm acidic base.
Still young, but showing well now. Just a bit of nice ripeness on the finish. An excellent wine -- and one that seems to gradually get better with cellar time.

May 7, 2021 - This is a very nice Burgundy from the Côté Chalonnaise. It is mature, with lots of berry fruit, good minerality and a medium finish. Yes, it does have a little of that distinctive Burgundy barnyard thing going on. I like to say earthiness for this wine and in a good way.

May 9, 2020 - Lots of farmyard flavours, and as I see it a fully developed Bottle. Needs some time in the glass. Would have to pay more had the wine been from Cotes de Nuit where A. Villaine is involved in another pretty wellknown and slightly more expensive domaine. Very nice

April 15, 2020 - Slight barnyard on nose. Very nice burgundy getting better as it gets more air.
