March 30, 2021 - Initial nose of ground coffee then vanilla. Dark purple. Strong legs. Smooth mouth feel. Blueberries. Smooth - tannins well integrated. A little austere. Probably won't get much better from now.

    December 4, 2020 - 9/12. Good cork, decanted 1/2 hr.
Deep ruby/garnet core, pale garnet rim. Developed, smoky, minerally nose with underlying dark fruit and a hint of liquorice. Medium bodied, very minerally on the palate also, touch of meat, dark-fruited, leanish but not austere, bright acidity, a touch firm on the finish but carries quite well. Excellent, I do like this vintage.

September 6, 2020 - Briefly decanted for sediment
    Dark garnet, near purple
    Fresh acidity, good autumnal fruit
A very decent claret, drinking beautifully.

July 15, 2020 - Still quite bright and deep. Mulberry and leather nose. Medium weight. Not green or sharp. Actually has some mature sweetness. Really rather balanced and lovely. No rush to consume.

    March 1, 2020 - 8/12, good cork, decanted 1/2 hr.
Deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose shows spicy dark fruit, a little reticent maybe, some mineral, soil and a touch of mulch. Medium bodied, quite rich dark fruit, mineral, spice, savoury edge, vibrant acidity, quite soft on mid-palate some firmness still on end of medium-good length finish. All in all very enjoyable though difficult to see it improving from here
