March 5, 2024 - Just like the last btl (consumed end-Dec), this was also popped and sat in btl for ~3+hrs before serving. Clearly the youngest showing (colour) of all wines this evening, this literally burst out of the glass with the same beautiful, floral nose that featured violets, red/black berries, vanillin oak, smoke & spice/sandalwood. This was a wine that came to you, sexily, but yet exuded class & purity at the same time with no short(age) of fruit-concentration/weight that reached a great depth. Long & fresh mineral finish. As fabulous as I recalled the last (btl) to be!

December 30, 2023 - Opened, and sat in btl for ~3+hrs before serving. Coming after the '14 LLM Griotte and the '14 Duroche Charmes (with both showing very well), I was a tad apprehensive how this would fare (hadn't tasted it when popped), but yes, my apprehension had been unfounded. This immediately showed extremely well, with a beautiful floral nose that featured violets, berries (both red/black), smoke & spice/sandalwood (that influenced a few guesses towards Vosne). Classy & pure on the palate, with great depth (of fruits) as well as minerality, this finished long & grippy. A fabulous wine!

March 9, 2019 - La Paulée de NY Grand Tasting (Pier 60 - NYC): A clear step up in richness, concentration and intensity. So much meaty spice lacing the black cherry. Great polish and delineation. Long. Pedigree is already coming through. 94-95+ points as the gains depth and complexity in the cellar.

March 9, 2019 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. A surprising elegant wine for the vintage, with so much going on, but so subtle and restrained. You have to pay attention, but early fall flowers, boysenberry, black cherry, braised meat, anise and black pepper all seemed to come through to varied degrees in the two sips I enjoyed. This was marginally showing Grand Cru density, but I expect this will put on weight with time in the cellar, 93-94+ point potential, 2030 forward.
