Community Tasting Notes 3

April 28, 2019 - Starts a bit funky and rustic on nose and palate. Opens up to great strawberry fruit with nice minerality. Relatively simple but it has typical Etna refreshing quality and works with all sorts of food. I enjoyed it.

January 31, 2018 - Exciting to see Kermit Lynch expanding his Sicily portfolio.

At first taste was underwhelmed by its timid, light fruit. Brought a bottle home to give it its due and glad I did.

Gorgeous soaring berry fruit on the nose, with ample freshness and only moderate tannic grip. Just a bit of spicy minerals on the finish. This is one of the most enjoyable Sicilian reds I've come across, and its not far from quality in my eyes from Occhipinti's wines. An estate to watch.

January 4, 2018 - High tannin, high acidity, cherry and volcano! A wonderful Italian. (Brittany)
