September 1, 2011 - Maybe a bit past its prime, however was a good week night wine.

July 8, 2010 - Big fruit, plums & cherries, that are very pleasing to the nose. Medium in the mouth with a nice finish. Slight spiciness and paired well with our caprese salad. Loved this wine, one of our favorite wines in the cellar for the last few years, not quite as good as it once was but I will definitely be buying the next vintage.

January 26, 2010 - Tasted chilled from the EuroCave. This one really needs to warm up to present itself better. At first the acidity overpowers the fruit but after about 20 minutes it settles down more. Still, the oak and acidity are a bit out of balance. Good value at $10 a bottle.

April 14, 2009 - Rich chewy fruit, acidity is nice, chocolate, cherry, very ripe new-world style sangiovese with nice balance. Love it with strong italian cheeses. Family favorite whenever served.

August 27, 2008 - I'm a big fan of this bottle. It's hard to find a decently priced Sangiovese, and this one rings in strongly at around $20 per bottle. Great fruit forward wine with pasta or even some fun cheese. This bottle has consistently been a pleaser to a wide variety of friends whether we are drinking $20 bottles or $100. Mid bodied, strong berries and fantastic!
