June 25, 2022 - Similar to previous notes, but a shade lacking esp. on Day 2 where it turned a bit pruney/raisiny. Don't expect improvement from cellar, drink up.

October 10, 2020 - Very possibly a 90. Blend mostly of Cab. Franc and Malbec and pinches of CS and Merlot. Quite smooth, just a tiny hint of sweetness that balances the deep richness which works well. Progresses and blends together nicely over time. Essentially same on day 2.

June 6, 2020 - Ok so this could be a polarizing wine, yes it feels a bit manipulated, as it is too silky smooth, and the sultry blue hair sorceress label art is a huge distraction from the juice. It's a bit sweet and feels kind of over-extracted, but it also has some nice spices and herbs, along with a mocha-tarragon kick on the med+ finish. Cab Franc/Malbec isn't coming at you every day so this is far more interesting than expected. Sh*t, it's pretty good fwiw, getting a mint choc chip cookies and cream w/berry sauce ice cream now. Feeling very manipulated...but happy nonetheless.

May 20, 2020 - Delicious, dark, full-bodied California Red Blend. Very enjoyable and an amazing QPR. Last bottle, but would definitely buy again. Still a bit tannic straight out of the bottle and developed over the evening: so it may have another three years or so of life at the peak ahead of it.
