September 5, 2023 - Great fruit, deep black coloring - drinking exceptionally well.
May 29, 2023 - Very good fruit, very black coloring - served on the cooler side, great enjoyment.
February 25, 2023 - 4th Saturday Group brown bagger (R&S's): Double blind. Dark color. Opens with a subtle meaty note, followed by dark fruit and spice notes. Ripe on the palate as one expects with Turley (the bottle gave it away despite the brown bag), but not overly so. Flavors of chocolate and black fruit with just a hint of pruny fruit. (V&M)
November 28, 2022 - One of the very few Turleys we had a hard time finishing.
September 25, 2022 - Fruit was bit flat. Maybe we held it too long?
November 24, 2021 - An excellent wine that is fine form right now. Follow the recent notes - consider decanting for maximum flavor profile.
October 18, 2021 - hitting all the right notes. Strong cherry and pomegranate fruit, well refined tannin, a bit of mushroom and a bit of spice in the background. The balance is right on point.
September 28, 2021 - Has balanced out nicely. Black fruits with good depth and finishes with some spice and earthiness.
March 7, 2021 - Opened 2 and a half hours prior to dinner. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was plums, dark cherry, bramble and hints of spice which came out on the moderate to long finish.
February 3, 2021 - A new Turley for me. I was expecting a bit of a drop from their single vineyard, maybe like their old vines (which can be quite tasty). Not sure it lived up to that. A bit flabby, no multidimensional fruit, very watery finish.
