March 18, 2022 - Have seen some variability in this vintage but this bottle was terrific. Sure hints of age which add a sweeter quality to fruit in aromas, but mouthfeel is tight, fresh, and linear. Lovely.

August 8, 2021 - Buttery nose with honeysuckle and poached pears. Crisp melon and apple with a touch lemon and lime. More lime on the finish with a bit of fresh ginger and a hint of oak.

August 5, 2021 - To my surprise, this improved significantly after a few days under vacuvin. It's now leaner, racier, and better balanced. Still sporting a citrusy nose, but a lot of the heavy oak is gone, and the bright acidity makes it light on its feet. In its current state, it would be perfect with fish (grilled or in a light sauce) or a white meat.

July 16, 2021 - Much better after an oxidized bottle. Clean crisp, lemony, medium weight. Enjoyable but not remarkable.

July 16, 2021 - Oxidized, not undrinkable but definitely not right…popped another bottle.

June 11, 2021 - Quick impressions: Tending more to yellow robe and oak nose than expected. Relatively light on the palate and low ABV, but in the end a CA chard that was too heavy for the meal at hand. To be re-tasted not too far in future with more robust cuisine.

March 23, 2021 - Nose of pear and a hint of floral . Strong apple flavor with pear, vanilla, and wet stone. Finish has a sharp edge of acidity, apple skins, and maybe a hint of old oak. A bit too sharp acidic for our taste, and may be fading.

February 1, 2021 - BHRH called and the critics' TNs align...solid balance and fairly complex palate, great w/food, all makes for a fantastic value thru WL winetext.
