March 25, 2022 - Has changed a lot since last bottle a couple years ago. Bright red fruit which calmed after a couple hours of air. No hint of eucalyptus this time. Enjoyed it.
February 21, 2021 - Blueberry and cassis on the nose with a hint of green herbs and pencil shavings. The wine is highly aromatic and the tannins are well integrated. This is enjoyable alone on a nice evening with a fire going. The end is a hint of mocha and puts you in a good mood.
November 15, 2020 - Excellent. Bold, lots of dark fruit. Very slight eucalyptus on the palate.
April 6, 2020 - This is absolutely stunning! Beautiful aromatics with lots of exotic herbs and eucalyptus. Tobacco emerges with air and dark cassis fruit as well as cocoa. Winemaker notes highlight adobo pepper which you really do get if you’re looking for it. It all finishes with a round creamy mouthful. Truly a stunning wine that I can see attaining a perfect score in 5 years time as it gains complexity. Their Midas Touch continues at James Cole!
September 20, 2019 - Give this bottle some time, and it will be singing. Just opened a bottle last night. A bit green and sour, but definitely lots of quality waiting to emerge!

February 11, 2019 - A juicy Cab Franc driven blend with a bit of oak on the backend. More fruit than green pepper that I usually find in Cab Franc. Really enjoyed this wine after an hour of opening up.
