May 6, 2024 - Garnet color and smooth across the tongue. Dark berry fruit was muted. Things improved as it finished with a long earthy and forest floor parade across the palate. Good balance of tannin and acid.

February 3, 2024 - Good cork pull and no infiltration, good heady bouquet right from the start. Medium burgundy. Classic Russian River. Cherry but not heavy, and darker fruit. But great soil. Slightly numbing but not due to mint, it's the RR profile. Very nice. Very much ready now. hard to see it getting better. Something I like so very much about RR pinot, and compared to other producers RR, Kosta has the most distinctive taste. And it's all here.
January 8, 2024 - This was my only bottle of this delicious RRV Pinot. Nice fruit acid balance.

September 28, 2023 - Dark crimson in color. 14.1% ABV. Magnificent nose of red, cloves, sarsaparilla and forest floor. Medium to full bodied with exquisite acidity. Rich and plush with earthy fruits and minerals. Black cherry, cranberry, pomegranate and earth on the palate. The finish is long and silky. This Pinot Noir is really in it's sweet spot right now. Best over the next 1-2 years.
September 24, 2023 - Very good pinot. Lots to ponder with this wine.
July 6, 2023 - The time has made this much better, softer and much more interesting.
The brightness of the fruit is now softer, more balanced with herbs and a subtle but nice candied cherry taste on the finish.
