We had a few Roulot's from 2016. This was the best one for me because it has a bi fruit and was less reduced to its salinity. 94

for me premox. If that is not premox, disappointing. No length and structure.
April 4, 2023 - Rich, complex and a bit nutty, balanced with nice acidity. Doesn’t have the tension or cut of the 17/19/20 vintages, but still very delicious wine.
December 14, 2022 - very beautiful, balanced and fruit forward. it was the best white of the night and i would drink/buy again although i find it depressing that a really nice premier is up to $450. This is ready to drink and should last for a while
July 26, 2022 - Generous and accessible with ripe peach and candied citrus fruits. It has a touch of spice and a creamy mid-palate. The finish is fresh and vital, with some smoky mineral action.
May 5, 2022 - Meals in France; 4/30/2022-5/6/2022 (France): Popped-and-poured, then enjoyed over three hours. Certainly ripe, but also just as certainly bright. Subtle floral start with some peach and toasted hazelnut, with much more apple everywhere. Picks up steams with more air, this got longer, nuttier, and more robust.
June 27, 2021 - big and energetic - opening up quite swiftly. Peach and apple aromas, quite fat. a good wine and I would indeed drink this quite early.
April 21, 2021 - Needs more time for ageing. Deep lemon colour. Delicate and well defined aromas but still appropriate Meursault fatness. Opens more up to after some time in the glass but still youthful. Notes of peach, apricot, grapefruit and popcorn (toast). High acidity, med alc., full body, long finish. Rating based on performance right now.
November 11, 2020 - Apple, lacks tension. Roulot's 2016s are uneven to my palate.
October 25, 2020 - blind
Very reductive nose in the beginning, after some time some popcorn develops and later some walnut. Good acidity structure, too young, would need longer decantation. 94-95
