February 11, 2023 - Still rich, round and right time to drink. Few tannins. Paired to duckbreast with mashed celletyper and horseradish. Sauce of port

April 22, 2021 - 2nd bottle. Not closed at all. Rather expressive - underbrush, earthy and elegant. Always consistent. Recommended.

February 20, 2021 - Improving since the last time I drank one. Still austere and closed, but quite drinkable with the right food; salmon or cheese. Decanted and had the rest the next day with wild rice soup. No great improvement, but that leads me to cellar the remaining bottles for 2 more years. Should be a 90+pts wine by then. Bourgognes I have had do improve after 7 years.

January 10, 2021 - As expected from this producer. A bit tight in the aromatics - but otherwise very solid and technical. I do not find this bottle "new world" in style or ripeness.

Consumed with homemade mac & cheese + asparagus.

August 22, 2020 - Fresh, clean, juicy; blackberries, dark cherries, plum, blueberries, cranberries, pomegranate & strawberries. Red licorice/cola, light, dark spice, saddle-wood, just a touch if grilled meats, fresh tobacco leaf, fresh herbs, limestone minerals, dry top soil, some moist dark earth, bright, dark & red fresh florals, acidity like a river and elegantly polished for days.

December 19, 2019 - From a ripe vintage. Aroma of spice and red fruits. Good fruit and acidity on palate, obvious oak influence. Open at opening of bottle. Great with food. Great value.

October 19, 2019 - Drank with good friend and very good duck at TChow in Adelaide. Performed very well in a pop and pour from a half. Tastes like burgundy, good balance, and quality right where you’d expect for an appellation level red.
