July 25, 2023 - Tasted after 90 minutes or air. Medium garnet color. Sweet raspberry fruit. Spice. Nice high toned lift. Medium plus finish. Just hangs on the palate. Just tasted this against 3 other Oregon/Calli Pinots and this came out on top.... Excellent effort.

December 27, 2022 - Tasted after 1 hour of air. Medium garnet color. Sweet cherries on the nose. Round red berry fruit and some good crunch on the palate. Plenty of tea notes and spice on the mid palate. Nice balancing acidity keeps the sweet fruit in check. Medium long finish. Very nice effort.

September 6, 2020 - Longplay wines are such great QPR. This wine is more opulent, more fuller bodied than most, with richer cherry and raspberry on the nose and palate. The palate also features a bit of blood orange and has the savory pine note that I consistently get from Longplay wines. The finish is marked by warm baking spices and a firm acid backbone. The tannins are fine but present. This wine has a long life ahead.

May 8, 2020 - They did a good job with this wine. A touch fruit forward, purple fruited and lean enough to speak to Chehelam. Medium acidity and a bit of spice on the end. Good show.

December 5, 2018 - Close to zero typicity, full-on hedonistic. Drinking like a Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir. 13.9% ABV.
