March 15, 2024 - Very good, quite fruity still. Well balanced and lovely flavours but maybe a bit lacking intensity and lift to really move us. A treat none the less.

June 4, 2023 - Good immediately but improved with time and coming to room temp. Very floral for a Chardonnay.

July 4, 2021 - Bra utveckling, gyllene i färgen, balanserad med bra syra och utvecklade toner av stenfrukt, grillad citron, lime och lite lite honung. Bra längd även och i detta stadie bra drickfas

July 30, 2020 - Wow is this good. Bright yellow. Citrousy tropical fruit (orange and grapefruit), peach and smoke on the nose. Exotic fruit and ripe acidity in the mouth. Cirsp with lots of minerality. Maybe it'll get better but I won't wait on my second bottle.

March 14, 2019 - 2016 was the Grandmare's name for Premier Cru in Pouilly Fuisse. Because she was at the domaine for 50 years yet they still don't have a permier cru. Hors-Classe was grand cru. And in 2019 they will have the final delimination of Premier Cru. Apparently its going to be 180 acres?

Le Clos is a special one for the domaine. The smallest single vineyard all on clay. So a very special soil that only exists in this part of burgundy. Apparently the fight was that this kinda soil should not be premier cru. It should be for Beaujolais! But the Madame brough 1983 and 1986 (or rather these bottles the present day winemaker brought to the comission) and that changed their minds. The real name of the plot Le Plan. Which is on the new burgundy maps coming from the commission. So I guess its a special kinda limestone on the top. Not very heavy though.

Man that is crisp and fresh and really darn good. Loads of minerality and freshness. Great length. Its the "Welcoming wine" because of the feeling of coming to this particular plot. As she notes "delicate but a roundess around the mouth" She also made a choice to wait to get a beautiful ripe fruit but ripe fruit in the sense of orange zest. So still pronouced, ripe and "a beautiful bittnerss" which is what they got.

Apparently the Premier Cru name will be different.
