September 3, 2023 - Mature now- maybe slightly pass the summit. Hint of oxidation in the nose, warm and persistent on the palate. Dominating secondary tastes/ spice and dried fruit. Very good - but drink now + 2

July 31, 2023 - Lunch at Fanti. Paired with wild boar. Lots of fruit and spice, balanced. One of my favorites of the tasting

    October 2, 2022 - Color - Light Ruby Red
Nose : Dark cherries, red fruit, oak, chocolate balsamic,
Mouth: nicely balanced, nice acidity and tannins, red fruit very tasty
    Finish medium long

September 12, 2020 - Ripe, toasty oak. Very polished fruit profile with a lot of good material. Plenty to like as beyond the wood is some interesting flavors and decent acidity. Not my thing but is well done. Screeech... needle scratches and Day 2 this wine has firmed up nicely and the oak component has slipped away. Blueberry fruit and plums with a spicy polish. I like it better now. I’ll hold my other stuff for a few years in the cellar

June 17, 2019 - Brunello di Montalcino 2013 tasting (Restaurant Vineum, Rotterdam, NL): Tasted blind. Substantially redder than the first wine; fresh nose with good depth, more modern in style, cherry and tobacco, newer oak; medium body, solid charge of ripe tannins, nice balance and freshness, drive and intensity; finishes a bit short.
