August 19, 2023 - Corked...just loads of wet cardboard (not rated)

March 26, 2023 - Beautiful textbook Napa fruit backed by integrated tannins that suggest a higher score down the road.

December 28, 2022 - continues to drink well. rich blue fruits balanced with a savory, mineral driven mid palate of crushed stone/chalk and damp forest floor. hints of oak, chocolate round out the palate. floral notes on the finish. fine grainy and well integrated tannins. small dollop of cab franc and petit verdot round out this tasty cabernet

November 24, 2022 - On the recommendation of another CT user, I did this bottle PnP rather than decanting. Good call! This bottle was lively and very fruit driven, where the previous (decanted) bottle was muted and overly acidic. Flavors of black currants, cherries, tobacco, oak and vanilla prevail. Drink now - 2031.

September 30, 2022 - Decanted 2 hours. This smelled amazing...notes of currants, cherries, tobacco, oak and vanilla. Very rich aroma. Flavors were fairly muted and the acidity was quite high, so I'm assuming this is simply still too young, even with the decant. Cassis, black cherry, vanilla and quite a bit of oak showing, but obscured behind a wall of acid and drying tannin. Will definitely hold my last bottle another couple of years. Drink 2024 - 2036 unless you plan on decanting for half a day.
